Jordan Anderson Joins Premier Select Sires as Communications Intern

Jordan Anderson has joined the Premier Select Sires team as the very first Communications Intern. She will assist with all communications efforts throughout the summer including social media, newsletters, sales support materials, marketing efforts, and more.

“We are very excited to have Jordan join our team,” said Laura Williams, Communications Specialist for Premier Select Sires. “Her passion for agriculture and the dairy industry are clear, and she carries a unique set of skills that will serve her and our cooperative well.”

Jordan has been an active member of 4-H for 11 years and FFA for 5 years, and she recently finished serving the Pennsylvania FFA Association as the 2021-2022 State Chaplain. The Junior Holstein Association has also been a large part of her life as she’s competed in dairy bowl, dairy jeopardy, the Young Distinguished Junior Member Competition, and served on the PA Junior Executive Committee.

Jordan has gained experience working with Cowsmopolitan, Inc. photographing dairy cattle shows, assisting with social media, interviewing agribusiness owners, and writing articles for the Cowsmo website and magazine. She started her own photography business, Jordan Anderson Photography, in 2018 and has also worked with a wedding videographer for several years. Jordan’s love for the dairy industry and her interest in media communications makes her a natural fit for this internship.

Jordan is a 2021 graduate of Penns Valley Area High School. She and her family raise show heifers on their small farmette in Pennsylvania. In her spare time, Jordan enjoys spending time with family, working with her animals, drinking coffee, and exploring any adventure that life presents her. Following her Premier internship, she will be attending the University of Wyoming this fall to major in Agriculture Communications.
