Premier Select Sires is seeking a part time Sales Support Specialist in our northern region reporting to Trever Babcock, Regional Sales Manager. This position will be responsible to provide technical service & sales support to member customers through CowManager.
Main Responsibilities:
- – Support our sales team with activity monitoring solutions for our member customer accounts as requested
- – Plan and execute regular customer visits in coordination with the sales team
- – Provide timely responses to all customer inquiries
- – Continue follow-up communication with customers
- – Assist with other responsibilities and duties as required
Success Measurements:
- – Product Sales/Product Growth
- – Customer Retention
Job Qualifications & Requirements:
- – Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Dairy Science, Agriculture Economics or closely related fields
- – Knowledge in the areas of reproductive management is preferred
- – Large herd management experience a plus
- – Extensive knowledge of synchronization protocols is preferred along with a basic understanding of dairy and beef genetics
- – Minimum of six years’ experience in agriculture related fields
- – Strong interpersonal & communications skills along with excellent customer service skills to build relationships
- – Solid presentation skills required with the ability to earn customer trust and loyalty
- – Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint coupled with the ability to quickly learn related business software
