Description
The Estrotect? Heat Detection Patch is applied halfway between the hip and tail head prior to standing heat or when cows are given synchronization injections. As mounting activity occurs, the silver rub-off coating of the detector will be removed, exposing its indicator color to signal true standing heat.

-More mountings result in increased color exposure, signaling the maximum opportunity for breeding
To apply an Estrotect? Heat Detection Patch:
-Warm the product to human body temperature
-Remove dirt, sand, dust, shedding and loose hair from the tail head (do not shave hair or use a curry comb)
-Wipe away excess moisture with a towel
-Press the detector on the hair across the backbone (side to side) just forward of half the length between the hooks and pins
-Vigorously rub the detector onto the hair with your bare fingers (rubbing will not damage the silver surface)
